Through the Buy One, Give a Pair™ program, a pair of socks will be donated to a shelter with every item purchased. Socks are one of the most requested items at shelters. Since pairs must be new to be donated, they're always at a shortage. We will donate gray tube socks in larger sizes to most shelters, however we will donate women's and children's sizes to family shelters when they are featured. With each pair donated, we hope to show our support for the homeless community and remind them they are not forgotten.
Our Featured Shelter
Initially known as The Drop Inn Center, buddy gray's (always in lowercase) vision of helping the homeless of Cincinnati became a reality in 1973, when an evening-only shelter opened in the Over-The-Rhine section of the city. The Drop Inn Center continued to grow over the years with an opening of a women's shelter in the 90's. In 2015, the center officially became Shelterhouse and operates as two new homeless shelters: The Esther Marie Hatton Center for Women and The David and Rebecca Barron Center for Men. Through "housing, help, hope," Shelterhouse offers the essentials to people experiencing homelessness. We encourage you to go to the site to read more about ways to help and further educate yourself about the homelessness epidemic.
